I wanna sit on it and relax for a while..I'm bushed! lol
Your mantel is TALL! I like the frame you found..and I love it white. :) Maybe you could tie the white in with something white on the hearth of your mantel too. Just a thought. I can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve for your vignette on your mantel. :)
Have a blessed day!
MissyMy Cottage Charmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02139190022476409282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7363614358261537192.post-7846541074175144342012-05-23T09:50:43.816-05:002012-05-23T09:50:43.816-05:00That's the joy in decorating your own home!! It was....uhhh....lovely. Teehee...was it something you could paint over? If so, that could add a whole boat load of options for you. My first thought was a chalkboard before I knew it was going over the mantle. I agree that the big frame fills the space better than the smaller one you had there. You could always layer pictures - by sitting one on the mantle, and then lean another framed picture against it..off center. (It also looks great with empty frames) Not sure if that makes sense. I'll try to find a picture of what I mean.Erin of Salvaged Whimsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17323369731933588650noreply@blogger.com
