I already had some wicker furniture that came with the house but was looking for a small stool/low chair/something besides the side table on which to prop my feet.
Look what I found! And only $11!!!
Bright sun shine makes it difficult to take a decent picture.
A little on the ugly side but I can see potential with a little paint and some fabric!
I got this wild idea to paint the bottom of it yellow. This yellow:

I lost the source...sorry. I pinned it before I realized I was sometimes losing the source.
Anyway, I still need to cover the top. I think I'm going to use dropcloth...but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure the yellow is staying...
What do you think??

ReplyDeleteI recently painted a basket with yellow spray paint. I thought it was a bit bright, so I took a softer yellow and painted over the bright yellow with a brush. It turned out great because the the brighter yellow was still down inside the wicker, but the top was toned down. Your stool is really cute!
